About me
Dr. Corinthia Price is a librarian at the Green Vale School in Old Brookville, New York. She holds a Doctorate in Educational Administration from Dowling College, Oakdale, New York, a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Long Island University – C.W. Post Campus, Brookville, New York, and a Bachelor's in Professional Studies from the New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury.
Dr. Price was recently elected to the American Library Association’s (ALA) Executive Board where she also serves as ALA Councilor at Large. In addition, Dr. Corinthia Price is a member of the New York State Board of Regents Advisory Council on Libraries and the New York State Education Department Interdisciplinary Content Advisory Panel.
Dr. Corinthia Price is an award-winning recipient of the Nassau BOCES Education Partner Award; Long Island Business News “Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business” and the “Diversity in Business Award”. She was also recognized by Mogul as one of the Honourees for the Top 1,000 Companies with the Strongest Female Leadership.
In her spare time, she works as a library consultant, conference presenter, book reviewer, and curriculum instructional designer for several book publishers.
